This past weekend I finished reading an excellent
ebook on creating profitable info products.

As I'm sure you've figured out by now, info products
are the most profitable products that you can sell
online.

Knowing this, I'm always reading everything I can
get my hands on to learn more about the topic.

If you look at any of the biggest names online like
Marlon Sanders, Neil Shearing, Phil Wiley, Ken Evoy,
or any of the others you'll find they ALL made their
success by creating their own products.

The ebook I read is: "Ultimate Information
Entrepreneur's Success Package" and is the best on
the subject that I've read in a long time.

The author, Jeff Smith, gives tons of examples and
great ideas that you can run with right away.

I found TWO new product ideas that I'm going to put
together as soon as I finish my next one. And these
ideas had NEVER occured to me until I read Jeff's
book.

Lots of books give you ideas and theories, but each
time Jeff presents an idea, he instantly gives you

2.  Hosting multiple domain names

One of the things that you've heard me mention quite a
few times is how powerful mini sites can be for promoting
affiliate programs.

Especially this time of year when so many people are on
the Net shopping for the Holidays, mini sites offer the
best solution for promoting products that are hot during
this time of year, but that may not be related to your
website.

For example, you probably wouldn't sell very many scooters
from your website on Internet Marketing. But, you could
throw up a quick site dedicated to scooters, join an
affiliate program for a company that sells scooters, and
you are set.

Anyway, one of the questions that I get quite often on
mini sites is where can you actually find a website host
that allows multiple domains.

The problem is that most hosting companies only allow you
to use one domain name, or charge outrageous fees if you
want to add additional domains to your account.

There usually are so many restrictions that it just is
not worth your time.

I ran into the same problem with my last hosting company.
They charged $5 per month per additional domain name that
I wanted to use.

So each time I wanted to try out another mini site idea,
they would tack on another 5 bucks. This started to get
real expensive, so I moved on.

Recently I tripped across a company that offers the perfect
solution for people that want to try their hand at making
money from mini sites.

Actually I found out about it from Phil Wiley in one of

3.  More about last week's experiment

After last week's article on my profitable experiment,
I received several emails asking how I was able to get
traffic to the page so quickly.

I have to admit that I was able to cheat on this one
because I linked to it from several pages on my
Affiliate Match website.

Affiliate Match gets a fair amount of traffic, so its
not too hard to send a number of viewers past the page.

So I wanted to give you a few tips on how you could
get your own idea up and running fairly quickly.

The main way to promote mini sites is through the
search engines. If you do your job correctly you'll
be able to get it ranked well in one or more search
engines and benefit from the free traffic they send.

If you are in a hurry what do you do?

If you are in a rush to get traffic to your mini
site, you pretty much have to spend some money.

Pay-per-click search engines offer a great way to
get things started, and then you can look into doing
some ezine advertising.

You can manage to find ezines that offer free ads to
subscribers, and others that offer low-cost classified
ads or even sponsorships.

Solo ads typically get the best response since your ad
is the only ad in that email, but you can expect to
pay a quite a bit more for those.

Another option that you might consider is to pay to
expedite getting your site listed in a few popular
search engines.

PositionTech ( http://www.positiontech.com/ ) let's
you pay to have your site listed within 2 to 3 days
and gives you 48 hour refreshes so you don't have to
keep submitting your site.

They only charge $39 for Inktomi and $34 for Fast.

If you do both of these, your site can be seen in:

MSN
HotBot
Lycos
Alltheweb

You even get click-thru reporting so you'll know
just how much traffic these search engines send
you.

There are many ways to promote your mini sites,
but these should help you get started quickly.
