slight cool spell down here, which is VERY nice.
I shelled out some money this past weekend and
bought a laptop. I've wanted one for about 2 years

2. Mini Site Builder

Last week I got an email from Phil Wiley raving about a
new site that he had run across.
To give credit where credit is due, here is what he had

latest craze) this one is quarterly, so people won't be
as nervous about signing up and committing themselves to
yet another monthly outgoing.
Anyway...
what I really want to talk about here is Desk Top's amazing
mini site builder.
I've been on the web a long time and seen dozen's of site
builders, but nothing rivals this for looks and ease of use.
You don't need to know ANY html to use it. And you don't
need any design skills to make a great looking, fully
working, website in just minutes if you've got the content
ready to slot in.
I'm not kidding when I say that these sites are so good that
you could use them to sell your services as a web developer.
The sites you can build look about 50 times better than
the Desk Top site itself. I reckon Bill Burdin and Harry
Pickett, the well respected people behind the site should
have used their own tool to design it. Never mind!
Ok...the mini site builder is fantastic, and there are
hundreds of designs and combinations you can use. So you
needn't worry about people using it to put out a site looking
just like yours. Harry and Bill paid a fortune to have the
building blocks of the sites put together for them...and the
money they invested shows in the designs. You'll build some
lovely sites with this tool.

Knowing that Phil wouldn't steer me down the wrong path, I
went to the site, did a quick read through, and signed up.
To be honest, at first I wasn't that impressed (What's the
deal, Phil?) I went to the Ebook Library, and felt they
definitely need to add some more material there. There's a
couple good ones, but chances are you may already have
them.
The Search Engine Submission section looked interesting,
but I haven't tried that yet.
About ready to head for the exit, I decided to try out the
one area that Phil had been so excited about in the first
place - Minisite Builder.
NOW I was impressed! (Okay Phil, I'm a happy camper again!)
What this thing does is allow you to create a website of
between 3 and 10 pages, using pre-defined templates.
The graphics and design are VERY nice...but not too
extravagant where it takes an hour to download.
The nice thing about them is that there isn't just one or
two looks where they change the colors. Instead the templates
have completely different looks to them to allow you to pick
the one that will fit what you like. (You can change the color
too, along with different graphic choices for every template!)
In just a matter of minutes you will have a completely cool
looking, professional website to start promoting.
Now, I know it says mini site, but you can even use this to
build your first website, or to change the look of your
existing site...the ideas are limitless.
